Kwon Yool,42 years old, Korea’s youngest Prime Minister He lost his wife to a car accident 7 years ago and has ad to bring up his 3 children alone. He has the reputation of being an honest man with high integrity, but in reality, he has a troubled relationship with his children, has a nasty mouth, phrasing any nice words into horrible words, just as he does at home. He is a world renowned leader, yet at the same time, cannot even cook a bowl of noodles.

Nam Da Jung, a 28 year old, 3rd year Tabloid reporter representative, is in charge of reporting romance scandals. At a first glance, she appears to be a very smart woman, however, she is actually clumsy, constantly making mistakes and embarrassing herself. She once dreamed of becoming a novelist like Jane Austen; however, in a society where one can’t make money out of ‘arts and culture’, being a writer is a far-off dream. In the end, she ends up using her talents in writing, her ‘HOT’ editing skills, and eye as a photographer to become a reporter of Scandal News. Because of her father's (Lee Han Wie) extend stay in a nursing home, due to alzheimer, she must work tirelessly to support him. For the sake of getting "the next big scoop", she follows Kwon Yool day and night in an attempt to write an exclusive on any news.

Kang In Ho, 32 years old, Top elite officer in Prime Minister office The first time he met Da Jung, he finds her to be a unique and interesting woman, although when she started pestering Kwon Yul to marry her, In Ho began to perceive Da Jung as just another woman (who want to get close to Prime Minister), and despised her deeply. Later, when he gets to know the story behind Da Jung's life, he regrets misunderstanding her. He decides that he can only love her even more, and does not want to regret anything else in his life. He just wants to prove to Da Jung that when he said he wanted to protect her, he truly meant what he said.

Seo Hye Jin, 35 years old, Kwon Yul’s hoobae from university, closest assistant and in Kwon Yool's confidence since his assemblyman days. Calmer than anyone, she is a decisive and smart woman, but a fool when it comes to love. At the beginning of her university life, she fell in love with Kwon Yul at first sight, but never disclosed her affection for him. She is satisfied with just always beside Kwon Yul in work and hide her feelings, until one day, Nam Da Jung’s appearance drive her mad. A path that she has not even cross.

Park Joon Ki, 42 years old, Minister of Strategy and Finance, Kwon Yul’s brother-in-law and political opponent. He is full of confidence and an ambitious man. He is in a political marriage with Na Yoon Hee. He has worked hard for his career, and awaits for his time to shine. During his university years, he and Kwon Yul were very good friends, But when he found out that his first love, Seo Hye Joo, was in love with Kwon Yul, he knew that their friendship was over. After Na Young’s accident, he assumed that her death was due to weariness caused by Kwon Yul, and he could not forgive Kwon Yul. No matter the field, his only ambition is to win against Kwon Yul!
